StarkFresh’s mission is to tackle the causes of hunger by creating realistic pathways out of poverty.
What We Do

Affordable, accessible food access solutions in areas of food apartheid, designed to meet the immediate needs of the community in which they are placed.

One path to better health and greater food security is through growing your own food. To make this task less daunting, our seed library offers a selection of free vegetable seed packets.

Our Food Incubation Center is an accessible environment where we ‘grow’ food entrepreneurs, helping them develop strong businesses so they can secure their own economic futures with Food Safety Training and our Business Development Boot Camp.

Food justice is social justice, and our Campus in downtown Canton, Ohio, offers a multi-functional space where community members work together to tackle the root causes of hunger including Shared-Use Commercial Kitchen, Office Space, and Education.
Why We Do What We Do
Nearly 54,000 people in Stark County, Ohio don’t know whether they will have anything to eat at their next meal.
That includes more than one in five of the county’s children.
